Humming with a fast pace

The history is repeating itself again. Now.......... in just a span of four days.......the thing that makes your hair raise and gives a shiver down your spine.........EXAMS!!!!!!! I donno why I feel that everything is just going tooo fast. But this time, I am really liking it. Soon, my exams are gonna be over and then the 15 days' vacaton and then a new academic session. In about a month, I'll be in the ninth grade, wearing "salwar"(that's the worst part of it) and when I come to think of it, it seems a far way........ that's genuine, isn't it???? just seems la di la for words.......

The hilarious encounter

After I complete this post, you might come to know how I waste my afternoons. Today afternoon, I came back from school, barged into the house, immediately started shouting some songs and went to wash my hands. And then I got the shock of my life. By god!!!!!!! THERE WAS A BIIIIIG COCKROACH ! YA YA !!! A BIIIIG dead COCKROACH!!!! Immediately I began screaming madly. i phoned daddy and then I phoned mummy and kept on wailing. Then, i felt quite brave. I said to myself "Chill Geet... just a dead cockroach ..." Then I went and switched on the Tv 's main switch , but there was a power cut. This was too much for me. I controlled myself and went to the kitchen. And ...... another cockroach there!! "yuck", I screamed and rang up mummy and daddy and told them that another cockroach was lingering past my food and that power was cut (feeling frustrated). I swore not to eat food. Worried, mummy and daddy started giving instructions to kill the cockroach but I remained obstinate. An hour later, I discovered that the cockroach in the kitchen had commited suicide in our kitchen sink and the "dead cockroach" in the wash basin had woken up when I had turned on the tap to wash my hands. I was about to run away from there again and phone mummy and daddy again when a thought struck me " What if I kill the pest of a cockroach and get rid of it. It'll make papa believe that I am a little brave. Maybe just a little..." And then, I made up my mind to tackle the six legged pest alone. I began singing "aa dekhe zara, kisme kitna hai dum...." . I turned on the tap in top speed and tried to drown the stupid cockroach but every time water drained out , it began to crawl out again. I tried out several times but I was no good. It was obstinate too. Just like the stupid itsy bitsy spider. Why are pests so wacky? I kept the tap open and the cockroach kept swimming. It was a fabulous swimmer, i must say. If it would have been my friend I would have enquired about its coach. So finally.... I climbed up a chair and took the pest killer spray and sprayed it on. And it died. I gave my victorious laughter. "wah ha ha ha ha!!!!!" And I boasted a great deal about it to daddy and mummy. Now , after 5 hrs, when I think of what I did, I realise, HOW SILLY I GET SOMETIMES! It's still in the wash basin. Poor soul ..... or was it really ????

Time runs so fast

It wasn't long before I wrote about my 7th grade final exams and now I am sitting over here, enjoying, after completeing my 8th grade half yearly examinations. It wasn't long before I was sitting on my bed wishing for holidays and freedom from exams and now its all over. I have completed my holidays and half yearly exams for the next grade. This span of time seems too short for me. I don't exactly know why it is but maybe it's because time crosses its usual speed limits when you are happy and spend you time usefully. It just seems like it was only yesterday when I sat on my bed and moaned and groaned for the exams to finish off. At that time I had wished if I could fast forward time and move on to blissful holidays. But now, I feel like rewinding time and go back to those lovely days when I flew to my uncle's place and enjoyed with everyone. I badly wish if I could treasure these precious moments and never allow them to end! But this is not the first time. This happens with me every time. Only when I am having loads of fun and never want some moments to to perish.......... (bang)... they perish away. I wish if I had a net to catch them, a fevicol to glue them right there or a magnet to attract them . But i realised that these things were not easily available astime cannot be frozen at any temparature. Man has crossed almost every ocean but can never cross the ocean of time. Well, till yesterday I was supporting this thought that time is rushing past us but may be I had forgotten that we humans had coached time. Whenever we have much time with us, we either use it or waste it. As it is rightly said that "Good and Bad days have to end some time! I guess I'll have to showcase some of my so precious moments in my mind and never let them melt away!

Sunshine Laughter Crazy Days

Rain Rain go away
Come again another day
Liitle Jhonny wants to play
Rain Rain go away
Well, I too wish the same thing as Jhonny does. Except for one thing that I don't want the rain to come again any more for this year. I've got bored of monsoon and I sort of feel summer sick. I have never wished for rain, may it be any situation. Even during the sizzling heat of summer, I may have wished for winter, but never ever have I wished for monsoon. My best friend, my mom and all are of a different kind. I do not know why they wish for monsoon. Me, I LOVE SUNNY DAYS. Summer , spring and autumn are my favourite seasons as they are dry and just lovely. I love to see new and fresh flowers over trees, roads covered with brown leaves , soft flowers forming a spongy bed over the roads and their attractive scent. All the lovely experiences like, plucking berry on the tree near the bus stop, shaking the Gulmohar tree and enjoying the shower of flowers, hopping over the flower bed, collecting spider lilies near the park, dancing out in the cool and refreshing breeze, drinking cool milkshakes near the window sill, hanging clothes to dry letting the hair open flying in the breeze, skating all the way to the park and just the most loveliest things that everyone wants to experience. It's just a beautiful experience rather than having rain where you can't go out and enjoy the beauty of nature and having to see yucky worms slithering on the roads.

Oh! Why am I so confused?

"What to do? Where to go? Should I really do this? No... I should not! Well ........ maybe I should... Is it right???? yes.... no... yes...no......" Well there is no end to these questions! The result is that I end up saying " Oh! Why am I so confused?" Well, I am a confused person..... not just "a confused person" but totally meddlesome too. I donot easily get a solution to a problem and instead get my brain brimmed with doubts. Doubts! Doubts! Doubts! Oh! why don't these doubts just sweep of???? Being a class monitor, I am often trapped in the most complicated circumstances! And what are those???? You may wonder "What kind of circumstances?? Being a monitor is fun as you get to rule the class!!" Well ... the circumstances are as follows :-
1) I get absolutely blank when I am told to see the substitution register and check the substitution teacher(god knows! how to do it!). Well, this is a thing that all moniters have to do . Just enter the VP's room and check the register! But... all kinds of thoughts occur only in my mind. What if VP ma'm is present over there....... and she scolds me.....NO WAY! Thinking of these things gives a shiver down my spine.
2) Though I am good at English, I get all confused when a teacher asks me something and I stammer in an ungrammatical manner, adding "is" "was" "actually" "what happened was that" etc etc ... words. I mean, why do I do this only before teachers when I speak neatly before others. I am a genuine stammerer!!
3) I get confused a whole lot of people stare at me expecting something from me. And I should tell you that at that minute, my body temparature suddenly rises to 102 degree farenheit!! And my hands go icy cold!!
4) I get nervous by the feeling of being the laughing stock of the lot and sometimes I do!
I don't know why I am like this ! It isn't lack of confidence! I have confidence in my blood! Who has the confidence to shout at the top of her voice despite of being imitated by others???? I have!!!!!! (I am proud of it! Collar up!)
No one else (as far as I have seen) gets so much confused and nervous like me!! I must try to pick up some nice rolls of courage !!!! I will surely try to. But at present I must think of some positive points like for instance that I am different from others and that's what is called...... "SPECIAL"
